On November 6, 1995, Cher released her twenty-second album, It’s A Man’s World, on Warner Brothers Records. The albums first European single was “Walking In Memphis,” a cover of the Marc Cohn classic.
Several dance remixes of “Walking In Memphis” were commissioned by Warner. While the single only peaked at #11 on the British charts, it did become a minor club hit thanks to mixes by Rated P.G., Shut Up & Dance and Baby Doc. My favorite of all the mixes is by legendary UK Hard House / Trance producer Baby Doc. Check it out below.
